Ed, this is great, terriffic!!!! I love the A's!!!!!!!
Hey all of you wonderful Audubon folks! Where the hell have you all been???? I'm still alive and loving the Beatles!!! (That was for you Federici) I can't believe our first families have tried to contact all of us. How wonderful! Thanks Ed and Dancy. I was so delighted that Karen Slauenwhite-Burke found me. It was such a treat to hear from her tonight. We believe that it had been over 24yrs. Are we really that old?:) Love you all, Mona
Great job Ed! Does anybody have the seventh and eighth grade photos? Would love to see those. Love hearing from all of you. Keep the e-mails coming as far as I'm concerned. Thanks Mary for tracking me down. I am looking forward to seeing everybody at the reunion
Hey all you dear ole' classmates! Wow. This was the first time I had a chance to get on the computer at home and I couldn't believe my eyes! So many of you found! Thanks Mary, Dancy, Karen and so many others. This is going to be great! Especially thanks to you Ed - I have to tell you I think you saved my job with this website (and I'm sure a bunch others too) - hats off to you for your savvy! This really provides us all a way to keep in touch always - even after the reunion. (Hey, does this entail a license or something that expires after a while - just wondering? I am so "not" computer savvy!) As a matter of fact, I'm really hoping I've "posted" everything correctly because I've been sitting here at this computer reading through everything and responding when I could add something to the conversations - and here it is 4 hours later - man I hope it worked okay or I'm going to faint!) Ya know, since we were all such a close-knit group, who knows, maybe we'll decide to have an annual picnic from here on out - hopefully all the way into our 70's! Bye for now! Lots more to come! Janice Wulf
This site is WONDERFUL!! The reunion is a GREAT idea. See all of you soon. Lisa Dzurnik
From Karen Gierke-Schaeffer: I cried when I left, and now I am practically crying when I come back here as the memories are so unreal!!!! I realize now what I left.
I love the pictures of every-one I can remember a lot of people by faces and names This is so neat.
Hi Ed, this is great. I received a pleasant surprise phone call from Mary Krone(O'Brien) today regarding the class reunion. Although my stay at Audubon Elementary was a short one, I met many good friends and have nothing but good memories.
Here is one memory I have. It happened during the recess time in winter. I stacked up a few ice blocks and crush them with my fist in front of Bruce Neely and Roger James to show them that they should not pick on me. I also put a dent on the side of the clubhouse with a jumping sidekick about 5 2/1 feet up (that dent stayed there for about 4 - 5 years). This action impressed Bruce and Roger, and I got in with the pack.
Now, I am married to an Irish woman, and have three chirdren (two boys and a girl).
I can't wait to see you all at the reunion. Tok Kim.
Oh my goodness, when Tisha called me last night about this web site I could only laugh, half of the names she mentioned I couldn't remember (a sign of old age maybe). By the way this is Sandy Mylander, it would be so great to see everyone at a reunion and more pics on this site. Thanks to those who put this together.
Karen Gierke here, I've emailed you a few times but it said that you werent a classmates.com member anymore. How are you?
This is great that we can all come together and see each other after all these years. Ed, you did a great job. Vicki

Ed- Another old (bad? as in your worst nightmare?) memory - Ms. Miller - remember? Nice job on the sight. I'm still "teaching" (actually Assistant Principalling) but at the Mitchell School. It's great to see the old pix - will have to hunt up any I might have. Where do I send them, if they aren't brittle and breaking that is. My address is firstname.lastname@example.org The reunion sounds like fun.
Hello, I am not an Audubon Alumni but my children went there for 8 years and I served on the LSC for 6yrs there. I have contact with Vicki Gyselinck ( Maples) And she has shared your site with me. I think this is so "cool" and interesting. I remember some of your teacher's Ms. Miller, Miss Taylor, Mrs. Hart and Mr. Hill what a great PE teacher he was. God bless him. Ed, u did a great job with the site. I love the before and after pictures. I read the poem and it was nice to see the person who wrote it. I also an old picture from the 80's when I was young and full of energy. It gave me a great sense of happiness and sadness that I let so many years go bye without keeping in touch with friends. Roma
I think this site is great. Ed you have done a fantastic job!!! Thanks to Peggy for finding me. Looking at all of the pictures brings back lots of memories. Since I left Audubon I moved to Virginia for three years and came back to the area in 1980. I have worked for a large printing company in Elk Grove Village for the past 20 years. I have been married to my wife, Annette, for 19 years. We have three great kids. I am still the same crazy guy, just a little rounder and grayer. Can't wait to see everyone at the reunion!!! Bruce
Aloha one and all. Chester here. It's nice to see all the names from the old days. My wife, Alison, and I were married, in Hawaii, in Sept 1997 and we're raising 4 cats in Woodridge, IL. See y'all at the gig. By the way, there's a rumble in the coatroom!!

Amazed to find good old Audubon still on the map. Is anyone left from the graduation class of 1939. I still maintain contact with Jim Zito, now living in Northern Michigan. I am now retired in Sun City West, Az. Anyone interested try firstname.lastname@example.org. Ralph Kornack
Great web site! It's good to see Nilles grew a goatee in lieu of that cheesy mustache that adorned his face all through high school.
